This policy describes how the initial version of SC Outdoor Check handles information.

Information at launch

The hosting platform may create basic server logs, which can include request time, requested page, browser information, and approximate network information used for reliability and security. SC Outdoor Check does not ask users to create accounts.

Analytics and advertising

Third-party analytics and advertising are disabled at launch. The site loads no ad scripts, sends no analytics events, and stores no analytics cookies while those settings remain disabled. This policy will be reviewed before either capability is enabled.

Search and contact

Location searches run locally in the browser and are not sent to an external search service. The contact form prepares a message locally and opens the user’s email app. SC Outdoor Check does not receive the message unless the user chooses to send it, after which the user’s email provider and the receiving mailbox handle it under their respective policies.
